The Sunday Sailing Series occurs is a 3-race series that occurs in August, September and October. The race starts in the main channel and extends out into the ocean to either the Balboa Pier or the Newport Pier. When wind conditions permit, it gives sailors an opportunity to fly their spinnaker.
